All the areas of interest are well modelled, and nothing is tediously realistic, but the flying is quite real-to-life. I am a pilot, albeit of powered aircraft, and flight characteristics of the Glyder are refreshingly familiar. I love the thermals, the power boost crystals and the tests of coordination that flying through caverns and honeycombs pose.
